The Thomson Reuters LUCKY 13 LEAGUE is an indoor golf event which runs for 12 weeks. It is open to 13 teams, each comprising up to 8 nominated golfers from buy side financial institutions, who want to play and network with colleagues, competitors and clients. Scheduled tee times will be every Monday at 5/6.30/8pm. The best ball stableford format allows all golfers to play their own ball for a complete round, as well as taking part in a team competition which encourages camaraderie and friendly rivalry. Week 13 will be a prize presentation and networking night.
Each week every team will be entitled to one bucket of complimentary Pure Blonde beer and complimentary golf. Every week we will be giving away golf balls, caps & towels to winners.
Dates: July 6th - October 5th.
Teams Eligibility: Buy side financial institutions and invited guests
Entry Fee: $400 per team
Players: each team can nominate up to 8 players. Only 2 players required each week.
Games will take place at set times. Rescheduling is permitted in limited cases.
Format of Play: 4BBB Stableford - 2 players partner together with each playing their own ball for the round – the best score of the two counts on each hole. The winning team is the one with the highest stableford point score.
Handicaps: Players must have a handicap. If they do not know their handicap we will offer to maintain one for them via the Urban Fairways club. The organiser reserves the right to adjust any player handicaps.
Weekly Points: Win 3 pts/Draw 1 pt/Loss 0 pts
6 dozen Callaway Golf Balls to give away with prizes for 1st and 2nd place teams, best individual score & nearest the pin.
Runners up: 8 Callaway Putters - one for everyone in your team!
Winners: a round for 8 players at The Serapong Course - Sentosa Golf Club!
Every team will receive 8 shirts compliments of unogolf and Urban Fairways
1. What if I can't make my scheduled match? You can reschedule it at any time which suits both teams
2. What if I don't have an official handicap? No problem. The organiser will issue you with an estimated handicap which we can adjust
