Chopine invites you to play Kauri Cliffs & for an evening of Wine Tasting
1. Bubbly Chardonnay
Made as a 'blanc de blanc' champagne from 100% chardonnay grapes, this is a bottle fermented, traditional methode champenoise sparkling wine that has out-scored champagnes in blind tastings. Crisp and fresh with a hint of citrus.

2. Blanc De Noir
Richmond Plains Blanc de Noir is an exciting, unique wine. Made 100% from Pinot Noir grapes in a white wine style. Its faint pink diamond colour hinting at its origins. Nicely chilled this wine is perfect as an apéritif or summertime drinking. Full and fruity with attractive pear, baked apple, peaches and nectarine flavours.
3. Pinot Gris
Delicious citrus, rock melon and pear with rich caramelised apple
flavours. Hints of Turkish delight and rose petals. A smooth, long lingering finish

4. Syrah
Lovely dark berry fruit aromas with earthy notes supported by fine tannins. French oak gives it a subtle structure with a lighter finish than most Syrah’s. Excellent drinking with game and other red meat dishes.
5. Pinot Noir
A sumptuous Pinot Noir displaying dark cherry, berry fruit and savoury characters. It is a concentrated wine exhibiting well integrated ripe tannins, a rich full palate and has a wonderful persistence of flavour.
6. Abbys Run Merlot
This deeply coloured Merlot features aromas of dark plum and blackcurrants. The palate is fruit driven and mouth filling displaying plum and spicy fruitcake characters. Subtle French oak and supple tannins lead into a long generous finish
7. Rimu Grove Pinot Noir
Delicate, sweet-fruit aromas accentuated with toasty oak, vanilla and savoury spice. Gorgeously plump, fleshy wine with fresh juicy acidity and lovely fine- grained tannins. This wine combines a full body with a graceful balance.
